Butter

Butter is the everlasting delight of the connoisseur, the faithful ally of culinary arts and the constant symbol of good living. It takes 10 litres of milk to produce one pound of butter. It is made from cream and has a butter fat content of at least 80%. The amount of salt in salted butter ranges from 1-3%.

Margarine

Margarine is made from vegetable oil, mainly corn or soya beans, and can be flavoured with skimmed milk and fortified with vitamins.
